What are the benefits of window film?
Window film offers numerous advantages, including enhanced eye comfort, protection from ultraviolet rays, improved aesthetics, increased safety and privacy, and potential energy savings. These benefits make it a versatile solution for various applications. What should I use to clean my windows after I've had them tinted?
After window film installation, refrain from cleaning the interior side of the tinted window for one week. Subsequently, use an ammonia-free window cleaner and a soft cloth or rubber squeegee. Foam cleaners are recommended as they are typically ammonia-free and do not leave streaks. Avoid using abrasive materials or blades, as these can damage the film. What do the different levels of film mean?
Film percentages indicate light transmission, which is the amount of light allowed through the film. A lower percentage corresponds to a darker film, resulting in less light penetration. Can window film increase safety and security?
Indeed, window film enhances safety and security by adding a level of shatter resistance to glass surfaces in homes, buildings, or vehicles. The film adheres to the glass, helping to contain potentially dangerous glass fragments in the event of breakage due to accidents, natural disasters, or forced entry attempts. Can I darken vehicle factory window tint?
Certainly. Aftermarket window film can be applied directly over factory window tint. Unlike factory tint, which is a pigment in the glass with limited solar benefits, aftermarket film offers superior UV protection and heat rejection. It blocks 99% of UV rays and 35-60% of heat, depending on the film type. Additionally, darkening factory tinted glass provides increased privacy for personal belongings in the vehicle. Can I use window graphics indoors?
Absolutely. While exterior windows are common for vinyl graphics, we offer various options suitable for indoor glass surfaces, including doors, windows, or walls. For instance, frosted glass can be applied to interior windows or glass doors in conference rooms or offices to create an elegant and private atmosphere.Do exterior window graphics block out sunlight?
Exterior window graphics need not block out sunlight entirely. We offer perforated vinyl that allows natural light to enter the building while maintaining visibility from the inside out. From the exterior, the graphics remain clearly visible. Alternatively, if you wish to reduce sunlight and create a cooler, darker interior environment, solid window graphics and door decals are effective options. Can I add a remote start if my vehicle already has a factory alarm?
Certainly. An aftermarket remote start system can be installed in vehicles with factory alarms. These systems are designed to function harmoniously. The factory alarm continues to provide vehicle protection, while the remote start adds the convenience of starting your vehicle from a distance, ideal for pre-heating or cooling the interior. Can I add LED lights to my car?
LED lights can be added to both the interior and exterior of your vehicle. The installation is feasible as long as LED bulbs are available for the desired location and can replace the existing bulbs. Can I install a sound system in my car while using the factory radio?
Yes, it is possible to install an aftermarket sound system while retaining the factory radio. This is particularly common in newer vehicles where the radio serves as a display for various vehicle information. Solutions range from simple line-out converters to more sophisticated DSPs and amp pros, allowing integration of the factory radio with an enhanced aftermarket audio experience.
